Turkish club keen on signing £250,000-a-week Man United forward

Anthony Martial has been on the radar of Fenerbahce and they are pondering whether to make a move in winter. The 26-year-old striker has been in and out of the team due to recent injury problems and will unlikely get involved with Real Sociedad in the Europa League in some manner.

Despite having limited playing time, Anthony has been quite productive whenever he has been given a chance this season. Three assists and two goals in four games speak volumes about his talent, and his availability could give Man United a much-needed uplift in the remaining matches before the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

The Red Devils have not tapped into the possibility of cashing in on Martial. France international is tipped to be in the Dutch coach’s scheme of things and Man United have looked better whenever the striker has taken to the field.

But there have been talks over his consistency as the Frenchman has been criticised for his laidback attitude on the pitch. But Erik ten Hag is famous for his strict man-management, and there have been flashes of brilliance from the French centre-forward’s feet. But he has now been offered to Turkish giants Fenerbahce.

Given the current scenario, the Red Devils would block any kind of advances in winter. But if they receive an overwhelming offer, they might have a change of heart. It will be interesting to see how Anthony Martial performs when he returns to action.
