Man United held negotiations with No.9 Serie A centre-forward

Tottenham are one of the sides keen on Tammy Abraham. England international enjoys life at Roma but could be tempted by a return to the PL. Man United are among the clubs keen on signing Abraham, with any move likely to cost huge sums.

Tammy looks to be enjoying the warmth of Italy and playing football to the best of his abilities. As his goals have proven, the 25-year-old centre-forward is out there to show he can be a top footballer. Chelsea sold him in the summer of 2021 after the London giants secured Lukaku in a club-record deal.

The English centre-forward’s goals helped the Giallorossi win the Europa Conference League last campaign. This campaign, however, the Englishman has been slightly off form, scoring only twice in 11 Serie A matches. As Spurs are keen, those faltering numbers have barely caused ripples in interest from the PL.

Tammy may be that player, as he might be open to returning to the PL. Considering their rivalry with Chelsea, whether he will be keen on joining Tottenham remains in question. Moreover, Man United are also keen on the centre-forward, which adds to the intense competition for Tottenham.

Erik ten Hag is already in the market for a new striker owing to the uncertainties caused by Ronaldo’s antics. The two teams could enter the tussle for Tammy Abraham, provided they could negotiate with the Giallorossi, who have been reluctant to sell the striker before.
