Man United closely monitoring 23-year-old USA international

Man United are set to snatch Tyler Adams from the grasp of Leeds United. Man United’s long-standing interest in the midfielder could be fulfilled if they find the ideal occasion this time around. USA international has been a lynchpin in the Leeds United midfield since his arrival for RB Leipzig this past summer.

The departure of Kalvin Phillips has not been felt dearly, but their on-field display suggests otherwise. Jesse Marsch steadied the ship after he was handed over the charge following the dismissal of Marcelo Bielsa last campaign. But 2022/23 has been a pretty rocky affair for the Peacocks, who currently find themselves in the relegation zone.

The Red Devils were keen on signing Kalvin Phillips, but the English midfielder preferred a move to the other half of Manchester. Having lost that target, Man United are believed to be ready to go all out for Adams.

Casemiro’s impact has been immense since the Brazilian midfielder embarked on a new challenge this past summer. The Brazilian’s tenacity and dynamism have offered Man United a brand new steel that they had been missing in the last few campaigns.

Tyler could be a backup plan for the Red Devils to relieve Casemiro from further stress. Also, if Erik ten Hag feels to field a double pivot an Adams-Casemiro duo could be a readymade solution for him. Man United sold Daniel James to Leeds and should have a healthy relationship with their counterpart.
