Chelsea keeping tabs with €90m-rated Premier League striker

Graham Potter is reportedly ready to make a shock player-plus-cash deal in a bid to add Tottenham star Harry Kane. Chelsea have struggled with their striking options in recent years and brought in Aubameyang as a short-term fix on transfer deadline day, but the ex-Brighton manager may want to go in a different direction upfront.

Graham Potter “really likes” England international and will attempt to prise him away from the Spurs at the end of the campaign by offering Spurs manager Antonio Conte an opportunity to reunite with Lukaku, while the Blues will also include cash in the deal.

Arguably the Belgian centre-forward’s best form came under Antonio Conte, where the two won the Serie A title together at Inter Milan and prompted the London giants to spend £97.5m on the centre-forward.

The report claims, however, that one issue that may end up preventing the Blues from getting Harry is that they have already made arrangements for Lukaku to stay at Inter Milan for a second campaign, though that option will depend on his displays in the league for the Serie A giants.

Another factor would be Kane’s interest in swapping London clubs. Harry has just under two years left on his current deal at Tottenham, and after failing to get a move to Man City this summer has been linked with a move to Bayern Munich. The Bavarians have been in touch with Harry Kane’s representatives over a possible move for the summer.
